Services & Goodness of Fit
Individual Adult Counseling & Psychotherapy
Within this practice, care is provided by an experienced clinician with over 13 years of clinical practice and more than 20,000 hours of direct client care. Services are offered exclusively via secure telehealth to adults located throughout California.
Treatment typically begins with weekly sessions to establish consistency, structure, and therapeutic momentum. As progress stabilizes and goals evolve, care may thoughtfully transition into biweekly or maintenance sessions when clinically appropriate.
This private-pay model allows therapy to remain focused on depth, continuity, and individualized care. Sessions are not shaped by third-party mandates, diagnostic requirements, or session caps. The pace, duration, and focus of treatment are determined collaboratively based on your needs rather than insurance criteria.
Many clients choose this setting when they:
- Seek consistent care with the same clinician across different stages of growth
- Desire weekly individual therapy sessions
- Have progressed beyond insurance-defined criteria yet wish to continue meaningful therapeutic work
- Desire autonomy from health insurances when determining the course of treatment
- Prefer not to involve insurance in their care
Therapy here is active and engaged. In addition to reflective insight work, sessions integrate practical tools, structured strategies, and clinically informed interventions designed to support sustainable change beyond the therapy space.
Care is intentionally structured around a limited caseload to ensure the therapist brings focused preparation, thoughtful pacing, and sustained clinical presence. This supports an experience centered on quality rather than volume.
NOTE: This practice is best suited for individuals experiencing mild to moderate symptoms which will be assessed during the initial appointment. Initial appointment does not guarantee continual services.Â

- Residents throughout California
- Spanish speaking individuals
- Individuals unable to access weekly individual therapy services or mental health services through their insurance
- Individuals navigating mild to moderate complex emotional and relational challenges
- Clients seeking culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
- A high-achieving individual navigating pressure, responsibility, or internal expectations
- Seeking support with marital, relational, or family dynamics
- Balancing personal success with parenting, family roles, and emotional presence
- Navigating relationship stress, mild anxiety, mild depression, or major life changes
- Exploring the impact of trauma within current relationships or new stages of life
- Working to better understand and regulate emotional reactions to stress or conflict
- Seeking clarity around life circumstances, relational patterns, or decision-making
- Wanting to strengthen communication skills to improve romantic, family, or interpersonal relationships
You may find this to be a strong fit if you:
- Appreciate consistency and are willing to begin with weekly sessions
- Prefer working with one clinician over time rather than rotating providers
- Value autonomy in determining the pace and duration of treatment
- Are open to reflection, accountability, and meaningful emotional work
- Want practical tools and structured strategies—not just conversation
- Are navigating mild to moderate emotional concerns or seeking ongoing maintenance care
- Value quality of care over convenience or volume-based services
Therapy here works best for individuals who are ready to engage thoughtfully, practice skills between sessions, and approach growth with both honesty and intention.
If you are looking for care that prioritizes depth over speed, clinical integrity over administrative requirements, and meaningful change over symptom management alone, this may be the right space for you.
Care Parameters & Clinical Considerations

- Eating disorders, sleep disorders, personality disorders, immigration evaluations, psychological evaluations, Domestic Violence Treatment, Perpetrator of Abuse Recovery Treatment
- Are seeking emotional support animal (ESA) letters
- Provider is not a good fit to support your needs and desired outcomes Â
When specialized or higher-intensity services are indicated, referrals are provided to ensure appropriate support. My goal is always to ensure that you receive care that is safe, appropriate, and responsive, even when that means helping you connect with resources beyond this practice.
I do not offer free consultations, as the first appointment is intentionally structured as a full clinical session rather than a brief informational call. This allows us to use the time meaningfully to assess your needs and approach your care with clinical depth and integrity from the outset.Â
During the first session, we will:
- Discuss your reasons for seeking therapy
- Explore current concerns and relevant history to assess for care needs
- Assess for symptoms and level of care needs
- Clarify goals and desired outcomes for treatment to assess for fit of specialty needed to meet your needs
- Review initial recommendations based on your reported and assessed needs
- Determine whether my approach aligns with what you are seeking
- Provide referrals if a different level of care or therapist would be more appropriate
This approach allows you to engage in the therapeutic process in a substantive way from the beginning, rather than through a non-clinical consultation. It also supports a more thoughtful and accurate determination of fit. This session also provides an opportunity for you to experience my therapeutic style and determine whether the approach feels like a good fit.
Determining fit is an important part of ethical and effective care. When therapy aligns with your needs, readiness, and level of support required, the work is more meaningful, focused, and sustainable. My goal is to ensure that the care you receive is appropriate, responsive, and grounded in clinical integrity—even when that means helping you connect with resources beyond this practice.
NOTE: This practice is not designed for crisis stabilization, severe psychiatric conditions requiring intensive or multi-disciplinary treatment.
