Benefits of a Private-pay Model
Freedom From Insurance Constraints
No Insurance oversight requirements in order to access care. This means no requirements for:
- No Formal mental health diagnosis,
- No Documentation submitted to justify medical necessity
- No Periodic reviews to determine continued eligibility for care
- No limitations on the frequency and duration of sessions
- No disclosure to insurance companies of treatment plans, progress notes, or clinical summaries to authorize ongoing services.
- No need for authorizations to ongoing services
By operating outside of insurance systems, therapy remains centered on clinical judgment and your goals rather than third-party criteria. The pace, focus, and duration of care are determined collaboratively, without diagnostic mandates, session caps, or administrative review processes influencing the work.
Autonomy of Care
Sessions are not governed by third-party requirements, diagnostic mandates, or arbitrary session limits. Care remains personalized, clinically grounded, and responsive to your goals. Care can continue from weekly sessions, biweekly or maintenance sessions when clinically appropriate with the same provider—reduces having to retell or restart with a new provider as you move through different stages of growth.
Receive Quality Care Over Volume of Care
A smaller caseload allows for focused preparation, thoughtful pacing, and consistent presence. This supports continuity, depth, and an experience centered on meaningful progress.
Within this practice, care is provided by an experienced clinician whose work reflects over 13 years of clinical practice and more than 20,000 hours of direct client care.
Treatment typically begins with weekly sessions to establish consistency and momentum, with the option to transition into biweekly or maintenance sessions when clinically appropriate.
*Note: At this practice, insurance billing and superbills are not provided, and there is no communication whatsoever with insurance companies.
What makes my approach distinct
My work is grounded in depth, clarity, and clinical intention—not a one-size-fits-all model of therapy.
Clients arrive with different needs. Some are seeking focused, short-term support around a specific transition or challenge. Others are ready for deeper, ongoing work. I support individuals navigating mild to moderate emotional concerns through weekly therapy, as well as those seeking ongoing maintenance care at a biweekly or less frequent pace. My approach is designed to meet you where you are—without pressure to meet insurance limitations of care.
What distinguishes this work is the balance of structure and flexibility. Sessions are guided by clear, client-centered goals, thoughtful pacing, and a collaborative process that respects both your time and your capacity for change. Whether care is brief or more extended, the focus remains on meaningful progress—creating independence and freedom from unproductive cycles.
This practice is intentionally structured to support depth when it’s needed and efficiency when that’s appropriate. A limited caseload allows me to remain fully present, prepared, and engaged in your care—so sessions are focused, responsive, and clinically grounded.
Above all, this is therapy designed for individuals with high standards for care—a space for intentional, respectful, and thoughtfully tailored therapeutic work.
What Becomes Possible Through Therapy
Therapy here is designed to support meaningful change—not just insight, but integration.
Clients often begin therapy feeling stuck in familiar patterns, navigating transitions, or carrying a quiet sense that something needs to shift. Through focused, intentional work, therapy becomes a space to slow down, gain clarity, and make thoughtful changes that align with who you are and how you want to live.
Over time, clients may experience:
- Greater emotional clarity and regulation
- Increased capacity for self-reflection without self-criticism
- More secure, intentional ways of relating to others
- Relief from patterns rooted in past experiences that no longer serve them
- A renewed sense of agency during periods of transition or decision-making
Whether therapy is brief and goal-focused or more exploratory, the work is guided by clinical intention and thoughtful pacing. The aim is not to change who you are—but to support you in responding to your life with greater steadiness, choice, and self-trust.
