Clinical Approach

A Practice Designed With Intention

This practice is designed with intention. Care is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in clinical integrity.

I honor your lived experience while supporting the development of insight, emotional regulation, and healthier relational patterns. Therapy is not about fixing who you are; it is about creating space to rebuild, reconnect, and move forward with clarity and intention.

Many clients value treatment autonomy, clinical depth, and a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and thoughtful pacing. If you are looking for therapy that prioritizes depth over speed, meaningful change over symptom management alone, and autonomy of care over limitations from insurance plans, you are in the right place.

Whether you are navigating identity, family dynamics, parenthood, leadership roles, or major life transitions, therapy here is tailored to meet you where you are. Care is personalized and trauma-informed, evolving as insight deepens and goals take shape. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, the process remains adaptive and responsive to your needs, capacity, and stage of life.

My Therapeutic Relationship Approach

I honor your lived experience while supporting the development of insight, emotional regulation, and healthier relational patterns. Therapy is not about fixing who you are; it is about creating space to rebuild, reconnect, and move forward with clarity and intention.

Therapy in this space is active and collaborative. The relationship is built on trust, respect, and thoughtful challenge. I bring clinical expertise and structure; you bring your lived experience and commitment to growth.

Meaningful change requires engagement beyond the session. Clients are encouraged to reflect between meetings, practice new coping strategies, and apply tools in real-world situations. Insight alone is not enough—lasting change happens through integration.

Our work is both reflective and practical. You will not only explore patterns; you will develop actionable tools to strengthen emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, and self-awareness.

This is a supportive yet accountable space designed to increase clarity, resilience, and autonomy—a shared workspace for intentional, meaningful growth

Therapeutic Approaches Integrated Into Care

Treatment may thoughtfully integrate evidence-based approaches such as, but not limited to:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. I use this approach to help clients reduce anxiety, depression, and unhelpful patterns by building practical skills, increasing insight, and creating meaningful, measurable changes.

Solution-Focused Therapy

When life feels overwhelming, this approach helps us identify strengths, possibilities, and practical steps forward. We focus on what’s working, what you want more of, and how to create meaningful improvements, even in a short period of time.

Recovery-Oriented, Strength-Based Care

At the heart of my work is a belief in resilience and growth. Therapy is not just about managing symptoms, it’s about improving quality of life, strengthening relationships, and helping you feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with who you want to be.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

For clients who feel emotionally overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in cycles of intense distress, DBT-informed therapy offers tools for emotional balance.

We focus on mindfulness, coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthier ways of relating to others, especially during high-stress moments.

Family & Relationship-Focused Therapy

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I view challenges through a relational lens. When working with individuals, I pay close attention to communication patterns, boundaries, attachment, and family dynamics, helping relationships become healthier, more connected, and more supportive.

Motivational Interviewing

Change can feel difficult, especially when there’s uncertainty or ambivalence. I use a collaborative, non-judgmental approach that helps you clarify what matters most, strengthen motivation, and move forward at a pace that feels respectful and empowering.

Trauma-Informed Care (PTSD/Complex-PTSD)

Many people carry experiences that continue to affect them long after the event has passed. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, helping clients feel safe, grounded, and supported while gently addressing the impact of trauma on emotions, relationships, and self-worth.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT helps clients build a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward a more meaningful life. Together, we focus on values, flexibility, and intentional action, especially when traditional “fix-it” approaches haven’t been helpful.
